Give
General Financial breakdown on what happens with: offerings and tithe (put God first with our first, best 10%)
You might expect us to say something like “it’s better to give than to receive.” But if we truly look at it as God would have us, it’s better to give what we receive. Through God, we receive many things – our talents, finances, opportunities, possessions. In return, He asks that we give back only a portion. It is through this commitment that we enable more hearts to be reached, more lives to be changed, more souls to be stirred, more families to be brought together and more hope to be shared. With Him, there is as much receiving as there is giving. And we are thankful for the resources with which we are entrusted through God’s faithful provision to each of you.
All giving is confidential and handled by our financial stewardship officer. In addition our budget is simple and yet profound in impact:
~10% to send: Missions, orphanages, feeding programs, church planting and helping the “least of these” (single moms, homeless and elderly)
~10% to save: We believe the bible gives us financial tools personally and for the church. One being savings and creating margin.
~10% to spend: on reaching, communicating and getting the word out with media tools, marketing or a big outreach and community dinner.
~35% to operations: general operating expenses, insurance, Kids ministry, curriculums and locations for meeting spaces.
~35% ministry staff: Administration, pastors, worship and leadership staffing
* seeing that we are a new church all the above is our goal for budgeting once we have paid our first basic responsibilities such as utilities, meeting space and helping others.
