Join The Team

Do we have a Membership at CIM? You can call it that if you like. We prefer to call it Team Church In Motion! Team CIM is open to anyone and everyone who attends CIM and who is passionate about loving, laughing, building and reaching people for Jesus Christ. People whose mission is to lead others to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

To join TEAM CIM, first you will attend a ‘TEAM CHURCH IN MOTION’ Event (or request the DVD’s called “God First” Currently reworking/updating this material). There you will learn about the history of CIM… where we have come from, what God is doing right now, as well as the vision of where we’re heading. You will learn about the ministries of CIM and discover serving opportunities and ways to get involved. To join us at the next Team CIM Event please email us. You will meet other people just like you, develop relationships with the team, staff, and volunteers; most importantly you will be equipped with the information you need to know in order to make the commitment to “TEAM CIM”. If at the end of the “Team CIM” Event you decide you’re ready to take the next step, all you do is fill out a simple form that expresses your commitment to become a team member. We recognize that committing to the team at CIM is not for everyone, so if you attend a Team Church In Motion Event and decide that the time is not right for you to take that step, that’s okay too.

The Team Covenant and Mission

All Church In Motion Team Members (Church Family) commit to four things:

  • Follower of Jesus Christ
  • Being in attendance of CIM worship services to worship God, hear the word and loving on people.
  • Putting God first with your time, talent and treasure (tither).
  • Participating in loving, laughing, building, and reaching people for Jesus in the Community where you live, work and play. (invite friends into your world, to Church In Motion and to follow Christ!)

We are united by Christ in a holy covenant, empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey the Great Commandments and the Great Commission:

  • …to love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind
  • …to love our neighbor as ourselves, and
  • …to go into all the world and make disciples

What makes the Covenant unique from other denominations is the fact that while it strongly affirms the clear teaching of the Word of God, it allows believers the personal freedom to have varying interpretations on theological issues that are not clearly presented in Scripture

“Team Church In Motion” is a comment you make before God and one another to Join this Church family. We encourage you to meet with one of the Pastors or write a note/email with your desire to be a part of the CIM family. Currently we do not have an Event planned and are building relationships, a team to serve our community and this Church Family is growing with folks who have a desire to become Team Church by walking out these principles and ultimately following Jesus!
